Hello all,
I just got my EBL flash hooked up (Dynamicefi.com). Its pretty cool. Anyways I have a question about it. My truck is an 87 K5 350 tbi. It is the 1227747 ecu. The bin that I used is the EBL_F_2007.bin It is listed for 87 2wd/4wd 1/2 ton trucks. It lists it as a 4sd tanrsmission. Mine is the 700r4. The only other bins for my engine (L05) that list the 700r4 (rather than just list as 4spd) are for 1988 and 1990 2wd trucks. My question is which bin I should use. With the 2007 bin (4spd transmission) when in the WUD, the gear selection is wrong. When in park it says im in park, but when I shift to reverse it says that I am in OD. When in neutral it says i am in park and when in drive or overdrive it says I am in OD. I know the 700r4 is a 4 speed, but why does the ebl list some as 4spd and the others as 700r4? I used the 4spd bin because it was the only one for 87 4wd.
If this is confusing let me know and I can try to clear it up some. Anyways, thanks for the help!
