Last summer was a very unusually cool, pleasent one. Normally it is 90 degrees and 90% humidity in June, July and August. The entrance to Tellico is about 2900 feet. Most of my family live around Murphy.

I take it none of you are college students? Most of us will be taking final exams around that time or having graduation at that time. I know for my school we're having final exams the week after 22-24 and commencement is the week after that.
I don't really have a capable rig, live like 18 hours from Tellico (western U.P. of Michigan), and will be trying to enter the job force but I thought I'd chime in.

Yes sir. Getting hyped and ready for it now. Can't wait. hey I, (think Sapper will be going too), will be making a day run to URE when it opens if you want to come up. Will just be a run to test all new parts and see what needs to be fixed before the long haul to Tellico.
Side note- Is the third wheel of Carolina Off Road Truck Club going to come out to Tellico to play?
I was thinking the same about Uwharrie. Hit it up maybe the first weekend in April just to test the waters. Keep me updated on this run if yall go.
I'm finally making some progress on my junk. Got the 14bolt disk brakes done and the gears/carrier out. Hope to order my gears this week and install them the weekend they come in. I've already got the 14bolt miller locker done and ready. I spent Friday and Sat at the parts stores buying all the little parts needed to finish all my small mod projects (tbi swap, new tranny lines, tranny cooler, ps cooler, engine gaskets, extra driveshaft and all the hardware the disk swap). Just need to get the tires, gears and some tubing now.
Trying to stay focused on the rig. Prob the dumbest thing I've done is having two K5s on the road at once. As long as I'm breathing, I'll be sitting at Crawfords camp waiting on yall Thurs.

Yep, Fuel Injection has arrived and waiting on some time to just install it now. Looking to be like a weekend or so project, plus going to do some other stuff while I have the motor out. Oh did I say the Fuel Injection showed up today
