Ok guys, looks like I'm going to make ECBB after all. Tow rig problems are HISTORY!!!

Ordered me a new 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 tonight. :grin:

NICE, i have to get my trailer problems worked out before the trip, the problem is i dont have one :confused:
 
I just got lucky a couple years ago when my wife got sick of her tahoe, she sent me to get a new truck so i came home with a 2500HD :grin:

Yeah me too, but I need a tow rig as well. Oh well I like the driving mine so will do so on the way to Tellico. Will be a nice leisurly drive to the mountains.
 
congrats tim,

i got a trailer & a tow rig,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but i got trail rig problems, it ain't finished yet..

must get back to work, must finish the K5.....
 
We're driving up that Thursday afternoon (current plans) if anyone is convoying west on I-40 about that time.
 
Long story but i'm going to have to do some swindling at work to get to go, but I'm going to get to go.

I probably won't leave til Frifday morning but you will be driving past my place in Asheville (or about 15 minutes off 40)
 
I will be leaving Thursday morning as well. Still debating on taking the 40 yet. Have to see how the fuel injection will like the higher rpms and how all new components will be getting along.
 
I've got a buddy that hauls cars for a living. Got on of those 3 car haulers. Want me to have him come by and pick yall up? :D However I don't think either of you will fit on a standard carrier.

I have been thinking about something like that, and did a search for a truck for hire but had no luck on finding a flatbed or a low boy for independent hire. Sapper might be able to fit on with his skinny tires but I doubt I will fit on anything less than a semi trailer. Would be curious to see what he would charge for the trip.
