I think the ORD shackle flip is better designed.

It's also more than twice the price.

I wouldn't say better designed but a different way to do it. Alot of people don't want to grind the crap out of rivets to pull the hanger and pull the tank (not neccesary) but safer just to add 4"s of lift with good flex. I used echobits measurements and built bolt on flips out of 3/8ths steel plate, the design doesn't allow mine to move like his did neccesitating welding them to the hanger so they didn't move. I am in the process of redesigning them to be more shapely and cutting edge look wise. Check my sig for the first design.

Just go get you some 2wd front spring hanger mount from a junkyard, tons cheaper and you can put them where ever you want /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I can vouch for that. I have a set of backyardbuilt's flips. Never had a problem with them. Gave me the lift I wanted, and are extremely stout.

Why do you need 2wd hangers? I used 4x hangers and they work fine, only problem is they don't line the springs up quite as well with the front hanger (rear hanger is too close to frame) /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

4x4 hangers are alot bigger and give you more lift than most people are looking for. The front 2 wheel drive ones are 1/2 the size of the 4x4 version. If you want a bigger lift you can use them though, as you know they still work.
