Got a small prob,its and1989-5.7 THRODL_BODY,this sys is krap,Fred Flintstone could have done a better job.any how my prob is that its Hunting like a diesel at idle when you come up to a stop,just touch the gas and it quits.iva checked the codes,and got a bad MAPsend code,replaced it and its a little better but not gone? checked the computer and no codes stored! what is it?iam thinking the WOT or the IACK,some info on this would help i need to check a few more thinks like O2 and fule press temp senders ect to try to nail it down,?how do you check a Knock sen for good/bad.aney help would be great thanks

My knock senser gave a 44 code I belive, but it pinged when I accelorated. Have you done a basic tuneup? (plugs,roter, cap)? The MAP senser has other coponents that work togather so I one is bad, it may give a failed map senser code.
