Anybody ever gotten this? Electronic spark timing is what my manual says. It says replace Knock sensor and/or ESC module. I was just wondering if anybody else has had any luck with any simple fixes.

I have the same Code that I get all the freakin time, Ive replaced the knock sensor twice and the ESC once. Also tried advancing the timing and nothing has helped. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

i used to get this, havent seen it in a while though, i think setting the timing to stock got rid of it, my timing got off after all these years i guess.

btw, my code 43 was always accompanied by pinging, again, making me think it was a timing issue

Mine does this, too. No one I've taken it to can figure it out. My code 43 is accompanied by nothing, it doesn't even change how it runs. Bizarre...
Hmmm when my check engine light comes on it doesn't run very good kinda misses. Also when I idle or drive my sometimes my tach bounces about 250 RPM's. I figure something is wrong with my spark somewhere. Any suggestions?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Check the usual suspects, plug wires, cap, rotor, ignition module and coil.
