ECM/TBI Help

the injectors are fired by the ecm, but only if the ecm sees spark.... defintely sounds like some sort of power loss somewhere....

if you still don't have it figured out tommorrow, I'll dig out the factory schematics and look thru em for ya.... off to do laundry at the moment... :o

Can't be the oil pressure switch as the truck will never have pressure prior to startup, not the fuel pump relay, Your problem is that check engine light. One thing you need to do is check the light as it may complete the circuit to the ECM. The other thing is that mine did this a year or so ago and what I found was a loose connector at the fuse block at the ECM2 fuse I believe. The fuse was just not making proper contact. Have someone watch your light with the key on and remove and check connections at the block. I would even just them momentarily so that theres no question that this is or isn't your problem.

I'll try that tomorrow I have pulled every diagram I can find to figure out this wiring but I just can get it. It is an electrical problem for sure. I am just not sure where. If I cant figure it out in the next day or so I will probably rip the whole electrical harness out and put in another one.

Thanks for the link. Hope I can use the info there to get the truck going again.
Just went out there using the charts you posted up. I kept trying to figure out where the fault was and it turns out it was a ground on the intake manifold where the battery connects. It looks like it is good but the wire actually is broken just at the connection for the terminal. Back and running again. I figured it must be something like that but I just couldnt find it. Thank you for all the help guys!
