edelbrock 1407 carbs, 250 bucks ??!!

are the 1407's really going for THAT damn much $ ?

are they really that good of a carb or ?

i read that they are one of few aftermarket carbs that are rodded/jetted/metered or something and with vacuum secondaries, all just like Q jets are,?

i mean the carb does make the old 350 run DAMN good and everything,, but 250 bucks ??

i guess that means i didnt technically lose anything when i bought the 80 camaro for 500 and yanked the good 77 LM1 350 engine out of it ofr my 71 dually, and sold the car minus that engine for 300, and also have this 1407 carb leftover from it,

uh, no, its just a 750 cfm AFB carb. they're that cheap for a reason, THEY SUCK.
