edelbrock carb/ignition

hey yall..alright i've got an edelbrock 600cfm carb. its the manual choke series, and i drive a '77 k5 with a 350 in it. does anybody know if i have a timed igition or full vacuum? i dont know which way to pick hook up my vacuum line. i'd appreciate a reply. thanks

Yours should be the Vacuum one. You will want to connect it to the port that has no suck at an idle and lots of suck when you rev it up.

alright man.. thats cool i appreciate it. the only other thing im havin trouble with now is my passing gear isnt kickin down. do you have to set those things? cuz my whole passing gear cable is new from the carb to the tranny? does anybody know? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
