I'm going to install the edelbrock headers and y-pipe on the wife's Tahoe tomorrow or Monday. Does anyone want me to take pics and do a writeup of the install?

Oooo

Did the mods produce any notible difference in driveability? How about from a unbiased driver? such as someone that drives the same truck but unaware to the changes? let me know if there was any signifant increase in mpgs. I have been looking at doing the same to my 1500 sierra with the 5.3, which has flowmaster american thunder exhaust, air filter, and hyperteck. I know that just thoes 3 mods were noticed by my buddy just by driving it and comparing it to the trucks he deals with everyday, he works at a chevy dealer. Thanks Jim

This is on my wife's truck, so I don't actually drive it that often. Along with the K&N filter setup, she's noticed about a 2mpg increase over stock. Seems to pick-up a little quicker too when you step on it, but that was never a problem before. For your truck, I've heard good things about the Doug Thorley full length headers.
