I Am in need of stock jets for a 500cfm edelbrock carb 2-#1426-.095 jets and 2-#1423-.086 jets, does anyone know where i can score these without having to buy a whole calibration kit?

All I have ever seen are those calibration kits. As far as I know Edelbrock wont sell individual Jets or metering rods.
Best place i know to get the jets is Ebay. You can also use Carter AFB jets. just do a Ebay search for Carter AFB Jets quite a few come up. They are exactly the same.
You might try a local speed shop also.

In the past I know I have bought them at local speed shops, but I haven't ordered any for a couple years now.

I don't know if the jets are the same .

I do know the Rods are different . One is tappered , and the other stepped .

Not everything was made the same when Edelbrock put their name on AFB's :thumb:

i own the calibration kit and it has both tapered and stepped rods, go figure. A couple years ago kragen/schucks/checker use to carry pairs of rods and jets. you could try one of these places but last time I looked they really only had rebuild parts.

Thanks guys, i found them on the schucks website, 3.99 a pair! i didnt want to fork out the 50 for a calibration kit. thanks again guys

now that you have bought one set get ready to buy a bunch more as you seek that perfect rod and jet setting that still lets your engine run, doesnt ping, ruin your mileage, or blacken you pipes. I have been to each end of the spectrum and is why I am now saving for fuel injection.
