Check out what I just noticed at Edelbrock's Web Site as "New for 2002" http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/new2002/new_multipoint.html

It's a complete, standalone, programmable MPFI system that fits Vortec heads. Mmmmm.

What does the edelbrock system run? Just wondreing. Thanks

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

SWEET! I wonder if it will be the same price as the other Edelbrock setups? About time these guys got with it and got some stuff that will match to vortecs

would that work in a later model blazer 87 and up with the throttle body set-up if you put a new engine with the vortec heads?, just curious cause i have to find something that would work for my blazer.

Start working overtime now.

Haven't seen a price for it yet. But their other standalone systems go for around $1900 from Summit Racing.

I don't think that this system will be the hot ticket for trucks that already have TBI. You'd have to gut the existing EFI system to install this one. But for the folks that have carbs and want to go EFI, then this appears to be a VERY viable option.

As a side note, I noticed they are also going to offer a Performer RPM level 350 (ZZ4 based) engine with thier fuel injection and 430HP. Awesome, I want one. I bet it costs more than my truck though!
