How many of you are running this on your 350? Any pros cons?

This seems like it could be a good upgrade in my future, providing my current motor isnt junk. Will most likely swap in a mild cam and better heads at the same time. Might as well as Edelbrock will burn your chip free if you just tell them what cam and heads you have. Any suggestions?

A great setup to add to a small block. I absolutely loved it on my old rig. Easy tuning on the fly plus you could program 3 different power settings for your style of driving.

I love the kit on my 355, had it for a few months and the throttle response is so much better than the tbi and it is a cheaper setup than the tpi. Worth the buy without a doubt.

So you put it on a non tbi motor?

i've heard its pretty hard to keep a tune on it. never really messed with one myself though. :dunno:

Not to mention, cost.. Big dollar induction there... I think it looks like a nice system, but it should be for that cost...

Yes it was on a non-tbi motor. Regular heads. I replaced an edelbrock Carb with it. It is a pretty simple install to complete. When I did mine, I pulled my engine to go through it cause I had a tick in it and replaced the cam, lifters and timing chain and what have you. At first I thought I had problems with the MPFI setup so on the phone with edelbrock. Their customer service on the MPFI Systems was great. Walked me through troubleshooting the system and when it still wasn't right, they offered to send me a new computer and burn a new chip for it. Come to find out it was a mistake on my half, after cursing the system and threatening to set my truck on fire. I was really satisfied with the help I got over the phone from them.

It seems like a big dollar expense to start off with, but go out and compare some of the other systems on the market and see how their warranty is. It seems like alot of money, but in my opinion, it was all worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another setup for the next project.

Yea, the price is a little high...Is it worth it for what it offers? Anyone else running this system care to share your experiences?

I run this MPFI on my 454. Throttle responce is awesome! It also helps I put this on a freash 454 so my rig totaly flys now!

I had a real hard time tuning this setup so I took my rig to a Dyno shop and had them fine tune it for me. Good thing to cuz I was running way too lean.
The EFI tech that tuned my 454 said he likes the Holly Comander 950 mainly cuz the laptop tuning software is eaisier to work with than the hand held 'brick' Edelbrock comes with..but hey once it is tuned right it ROCKS!

I will never use a carb agian! MPFI ROCKS!

My old room mate (westtexask5) Had it on his 88 with heads and a very mild cam and it would blow my doors off. Id love to have one on mine.

ya i'm really lookin to buy one of these kits also, as i've heard great things about them, aside from here. i was just kinda wondering what is all included w/ the kit. i know that the fuel pump isnt so just wondering which one i'll need. i have an 88 w/ a 350tbi. i was kinda wanting to put in a little bit bigger cam just for some extra grunt, how big of one can i put in w/o affecting it to much?
