edelbrock performer carbs???any good? 350 hp?

hi guys im building a sb that will be a higer hp motor around 350 or 375. max rpm 6500. com cam 280h 480 lift. . e brock rpm air gap intake ,re worked hi flo heads, 9.5;1 comp. 2500 stall converter .its going in my street car not my truck. i know i should run a holly 650 dp or somthing but how would an edlebrock 600 cfm manual choke carb work out? they have the rebuilt ones for 200 bucks. i dont want to go to the 750 i think that would just be to big. what do you guys think. is an edelbrock 600 ok for a 350 to 375 hp street car motor with a 2500 stall. can it keep up in the higher rpm? thaks a lot. ps im not new i have been around for about 4 years i just for got my user name and password and dont have the same e mail as i did when i registered. thanks for your help nick.
