On my 383 TBI motor:
I am putting my top-end back togeter after my bent valve incedent and am looking for a better TBI manifold. Currently I am running the stock manifold bored to 2" to match my Holley TBI unit.
I have searched for comparisons on the Edelbrock 3704 and have not found much in actual reports of the perfomance.

I am leaning towards just putting my stock manifold back on, but would like to hear any of your opinions on the Edelbrock TBI manifold - especially if you are using one or have experiance with one. The price tag is a bit steep at $265 + boring out to 2".

thanks,
Keith

I'm gonna run one for my 383..

misleading, yet something..... I've heard they flow much better than stock...

I'd expect that with stock TBI heads, no intake is going to help. Ported TBI or better heads could use a better intake I'm sure.

I'm running some ProTopline stock replacement heads, but I don't know how much better they are than stock.

I went with the Edelbrock TBI manifold and bored it to 2 inches myself ( very easy to do ). I used a 454 throttlebody on it with a chip from tbichips.
I tried to bore the stock manifold and broke thru to the water passage :(
