Hey all i was wondering what you guys thought about the Edge insight vs autometer or other types of gauges? Like how is the accuracy between the 2?

just trying to get some info :D

Well, honestly, this is a pretty silly question....

You'll find 14,853 people hear running AM's, and I'd bet the farm noone is running those all in one Edge gauges.... look pretty new...

for an analog, AM's are usually pretty balls on...

14,854 now and I like my Autometers so far.

I would say that it probably wouldn't be bad for the truck in your avatar, but I wouldn't compare them to Autometers. You are still relying on the stock sensors, and it is not like the stock sensors are nearly as accurate as a mechanical or most electrical aftermarket gauges.

really? I thought it would be the opposite. Im not very imformed on the differnces between the two. Personally I like autometers more but the question was given to me and I didnt know.

The design of the Insight is to plug directly into the OBD2 port on the vehicle. So it is just using the stock sensors that feed the information to the CPU. For the most part, the stock sensors are ok, but they don't read nearly as accurately as an Autometer sensor, especially a mechanical sensor.
