I recently rebuilt the TBI 350 in my '87 K5--all stock except for flat top (versus the factory dished) pistons bored .30, balanced, and a Holley 670 cfm TBI unit. It runs great, except the check engine light is constantly on, giving a bad knock sensor readout on the diagnosis. The sensor is new and hooked up right, along with every other sensor. The engine also stalls slightly when I take off from a stop and occasionally when the tranny shifts. I thought it may be that the computer doesn't like the small increase in compression, but I am not sure that is it because it never pings (even with the cheap gas). I am at a loss for what to try next--maybe someone out there has had similar trouble? Thanks for the help. [email protected]
