I just got a new carb, and it does not have hook ups for my egr, but thats ok with me, I live in an area that i don't have to smog. but at this point in time i don't have an egr block off plate. so here is my question

should i.....

A: just unhook the vac line at the egr and leave it how it is,

or
B: unhook the vac line at the egr, and plug the port on the egr valve?

block off plates are really, really cheap. They are very easy to make as well. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to get rid of my EGR, but I'm pretty sure now that I am going to try to make a block off plate and plug it :D
so my vote is just to block it off, its not that hard
