EGR question

I pulled my manifolds and installed headers today. I expected to see a bung in the exhaust for the EGR, which is what I have seen on the newer vehicles I have worked on.My questions is where doe the EGR get the exhaust gas from?

sbc gets its egr gas flow from the middle 2 ports in the head. not like fords or newer ls series motor gm's .

mabye you were thinking air tubes in the headers for the air pump .
