EGR Replacement ?

Has anyone ever replaced their EGR valve with one of the NAPA brand ones. They come with a chart to cross reference your oem EGR number to the corresponding orifice washer for your application. My problem is I don't have the original number to cross refernce. Has anyone done this and happen to know which washer to use, or does someone happen to have the original EGR valve, and can get the numbers off it. It would probably need to be off a 81' with auto and CA emmissions.

I would stick with AC Delco. I had an aftermarket EGR replacement on my '88 Jimmy and it kept throwing false egr codes. Apparently our computers can be sensitive to non OEM parts. This it what the smog shop told me anyway. Have not had a problem with the AC replacement 9 years and going.http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php
