HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Need a little brain power this morning…currently pulling my stock TBI motor for a full rebuild. Unfortunately a plastic nipple broke off of what I think is the EGR Vacuum pump. Double checking on this part as I start to chase it down. Adding pics.

I didn't know EGR had a vacuum pump.
Or is it a vacuum switch?
If you post a picture of the broken area, I have repaired a few of these broken plastic nipples before.
Some are impossible to repair.
I know you can just buy a new part but I try to save a part that still works otherwise

That looks like the EGR solenoid. It is hard to tell from the picture, but the "left" side of that component in your pic should be where one of the nipples broke off. One of the two goes directly to the EGR valve and the other is a vent. When sold new, the vent nipple has a foam filter element over it.

RockAuto has these for fairly cheap, but the AC Delco units are pretty pricey if I recall correctly ($100?)

I ran something like that for years with the nipple held on by JB Weld.
