Passenger side of intake manifold just behind the carb (kinda like the rear passenger corner actually).

Is it attached to the distributor?
EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation and it is a valve that attaches to the intake manifold and operates with vacuum to mix exhaust gases with the intake charge to help reduce cylinder temps which lowers NOx.
