Is there way to tell by the casting numbers on the calipers which years they came from? I just got mine in the mail today and wanna make sure i didn't get took. The look like the correct ones from the pics i've seen, just double checking. Any help is great /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: Eldo calipers question

Jeff, If the inside section of the caliper measures 2.5" across and has the e-brake shaft on the inside/backside then you have the correct ones. The newer ones are designed for thinner rotors. Bill

Thank you Bill

I just got my set of caddy calipers for $35 shipped to my door complete with levers and return springs

Re: Eldo calipers question

The fleetwood and seville caliper castings are the same as the eldorado castings but the piston is different. To measure only the opening of the casting won't tell you anything. You need to measure the opening between the piston and the caliper and make sure it will clear the larger rotor as you stated.
