So I'm installing new eldorado calipers with parking brake I got from Ruff stuff. Right now calipers are mounted correctly with bleeder on top which makes the brake cable to go under axle. I could switch sides and place passenger caliper on driver side and vice versa so brake cable will mount above axle but calipers will have to be unmounted to bleed. What if I switch the mounting plate so calipers are at the 2 o clock position on passenger side and 10 o clock on drivers side so bleeder is on top. Just don't feel comfortable with brake cable under axle and bleeder will be on top for easy bleeding. What's your thoughts?

I don't have an axle in front of me so I am trying to visualize it, if you can clock it in a way the cable is not under and the bleeder is above not below you're fine.
I have never seen a stock vehicle that has the bleeder at 12 o'clock.
They are 2 or 10

Right nowit is that way, bleeder on top but brake cable has to go under axle to mount to caliper. Seen another blazer with same set up but calipers switched sides so bleeder was on bottom but now brake cables we're out of the way and got under acle to hook up

Cadillac brakes must be bled off the rotor to get all the air out, unless they are 100% straight up parallel on bleeder. I have them and the e brake setup is crucial to proper operation. They also do rewire you to use the e brake all the time it is parked for proper disc adjustments.
