The last calipers listed (18-4139) are for a later model Eldorado. I purchased these thinking they were giving me the earlier calipers I asked for (1976). Found out they gave me the wrong calipers (not what I asked for.) After reading the write-ups I returned them thinking they weren't the ones everyone said were needed (18-4117?). BTW, the calipers, with ALL the hardware, including core charges was $196 + change for two at O'Reilly's.
I'm thinking "IF" I decide to go the Eldorado route I will get the Lugnut4x4 units. Expensive but new not remanufactured.(sp?).
Does anyone know if the Wilwood units listed fit the brackets sold online for the Eldorado calipers? If so, those would be the most cost effective way to go for the e-brake calipers, IMO. At least from what I've seen so far.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.I don't mind being wrong if I find out before I lay down my cash. Money isn't easy to come by so I'd like to find out all the information I can get before jumping into this again. Thanks to everyone for all and any help. We can all benefit from the input shared by the "hive."
ETA: I realize Ruffstuff is cheaper but not in stock.
