I have the electric choke on my Edelbrock 1406. I know how the choke works by heating the element inside, bla, bla, bla....
My question - these electric chokes never really "turn off" correct? It always keep power running to it when the truck is keyed on/ running.
Isn't this bad? not talking about for the engine.. but just the heat that thing generates..... seems unsafe because those suckers seem to get damn hot... I dont know it doesnt melt the plastic housing....
