I just purchased the Flex-a-lite Mdl# 292 (http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/27inch-electric.html) electric fan and it came with “Universal” brackets   which suck and they wont fit my 90 K-5 Blazer. :doah: :doah: I need some assistance from those of you who have this fan installed in there Blazer on how you fabricated mounting brackets. Picture would be really helpful too. Thanks a million.

Dan..

these are actually out of an infinity but I just used 1 inch square tubing and fabbed a holder.

It doesnt show it in the pic ( its old ) but i took thin guage sheet metal and made a shroud to help direct the flow. I didnt want it right up against the radiator because it can cause leaks.
gabe :D

also the upper radiator mounts were modified to hold the bracket as well. thats the silver screw in the upper left hand corner.

also I run ac in ga in the summer with this setup and it works just fine.
