what can i use in the engine bay to hho into ignition on? i have the wire thats going to the tach but i dont know if i splice into that if it will screw up my tach. i really dont want to splice in near the dizy, looking for something closer to the core support!

thanks

tom

the tach wire is a negative and the ignition is the hot even on HEI setups. Id run the wire from the battery thru a swithch on your dash then back to the fan. Or run the wire from the ignition port off the fuse panel to the fan directly. There is no ignition hot wires on the core support.

Don't splice anything, that's why the fuse panel has all the empty slots across the top of it.

You're just running a light gauge wire assuming you are setting up some sort of relay system, so it's not going to be hard to run the wire.

yup, wired it right to the fuse panel. ill post a thread with some pics of the install after the first period of the devils game

thanks guys
