I'm looking for pointers on converting to electric fan(s). The ECM I'm using for my TBI conversion will control the fan, so I just need the actual fans and a way to mount them. If I went with flexalites, what am I looking for size wise, anyone have part numbers? How does the mounting work?

I see people talking about windstar fans too. Any particular years? How does the mounting go on those?

I'm kind of clueless here, just trying to get started.

iirc, 95, 96 are the optimum windstar yrs... that shroud is relatively close to rad size in our rigs, usually only requires a couple simple brackets...

I used a 96 impala fans on my BBC camaro. Not sure of the dimentions right now but kept the old girl cool all drag week. Just an FYI for guys looking for cheap fans is to ask your local body shop to save them from front crashes. I have used some with just a broken ear or small crack from Vans and trucks and they usually have lots of life.

That should be it, here is a shot of the one I just picked up.

Cool. Is there generally no issue clearing A/C and trans cooler lines and stuff?

I see that ebay one is listed at $92 right now. unless you feel like you have to have new, get one from a junk yard. I picked mine up for $20. windstars aren't exactly rare. :D
