i just put a engine from a 92 into a 79 k20 . it has the hole for the fuel pump pushrod so i put it all together and it doesnt work pulled the fuel pump and held the fuel pump pushrod i spun the engine over and well it doesnt move . so i have electric pump fuel that i will have to use but i need to know what to do . will i need a regulator? and it has dual tanks with a return line what will i do with it ? the electric fuel pump just has one line thanks for any input

If you're going with an electric pump you're going to need a pump for each tank and wired into the switching valve so that the proper pump will work when switching tanks. Just remember that electric pumps are made to push fuel not suck fuel so the pump needs to either be in tank or as close as possible to the tank and near the bottom level of the tank to work properly.

Or, clean the hole for the pushrod, When I did the swap, The hole was gummed up, and the pushrod was sticky, make sure the holw is clean and the pushrod moves freely.
