Has anyone put an inline fuel pump for a CUCV? I dont know if I read this somewhere on the forums or it was somewhere else.

I would like to put in an electric inline fuel pump for my M1009 and not worry about the old mech one.

thx

Havent run mine yet (been in the midst of about 20 projects) but I have a hummer h1 lift pump on mine. It was about the same price as the generic mr gasket ones, and its supposed to be slightly higher pressure than the mech one which Ive read can help increase power slightly. IIRC is in the 10-12psi range vs 6-8 for the stocker. Also allowed me to simplify that front corner of the engine alot, ditch all those lines.

I put a small Carter pump on my pass side inner fender. It's in the shop right now getting the whole fuel system cleaned and a screw on filter conversion done. I've yet to see if the pump works. But it supposedly does.
