electric on board air systems

been looking for a on-board air conpressor. something with 100% duty cycle@ 100 psi or so.so many makers i dont know a good one from a bad.I have a three gal. air tank already mounted and hard lined to the left front wheel well. I figured i'd have enough room there. I'm not opposed to an engine mount model but,my harrison air compressor still works, and besides my 75' k-5 has dual batteries. So, can you guys give me some helpful direction on what equipment to choose? This is only my second thread i'm new at this but i've got alot of great ideas from this forum in the past.

You're not too far away. Feel free to drop by some weekend and take a look in person. I can show you how i did the whole system. not too expensive.

And when the rest of our BB gets put back up, i might be able to find the write up i did last year.

since you said $1500 oasis manufacturing has 1, its $1400 but its 8cfm @ 100psi, max pressure of 200 psi. Its 90% duty cycle. VIAIR also makes a couple 100% duty cycles. The VIAIR's are $200-700, but their CFM sucks, like 1.5 cfm @ 100psi IIRC.

Just a thought. I dont have much use with it right now, but I can say it works. Pretty decent for the money I guess.
