electric problem

Been gone for over a month and yesterday while driving around i noticed that the battery was not being recharged. Now everything electric is way slow, stereo will cut out and stuff like that. The battery seems good to go?? Any suggestions would be greatlly appreciated.

where is your volts gauge at? with a voltmeter, your batt oughta be around ~14.5 volts or so at idle/////

rip that alternator off and have homer down at pepboys test it..... if it craps out, buy the rebuild kit! 13 bucks! i did it yesterday! i have photos if you forget how the resistor is oriented and which two bolts inside are the plactic sleeved ones! i'm crazy!

yeah! i had a bed belt, and it would slip no matter how tight i tensioned it, and wouldn't charge. i was amazed about that and wouldn't believe it till my $%#% started charging again!!

had it tested and it was the alt. fixed now thanks!
