Saw one of these things on ebay. Any body know if they work? Claims 30-40hp at the rear wheels.

those are a scam, all they are is boat bilge blowers. A real supercharger will cost you $3000.00+ by the time you get the blower, Drive, Carbs and all the other componets to complete it. I run a Mooneyham 12-71 stage 4 with twin Predator carbs with a 14mm drive. I have clost to 7000.00 in it.

several years ago, a guy i know tried to get a patent for an electric super charger of sorts. he ended up building some thing almost identical to something gm had sitting on a shelf in some warehouse. he had to change his design to be some percentage different than gm's design to seek a patent again. last i heard, he was working with isuzu or mitsubishi to patent it. but that was several years ago.

true hp is not cheap it takes MONEY AND SWET
to get 30-40 hp at the rear would meen probly 75-80 at the flywheel.
