for some reason the window has no problem going down. now for some reason i won't even make a noise to start going back up. could this be a electrical problem or does the motor need to be replaced? or any other thoughts!

Sounds like the safety switch is messed up. You should be able to find plenty of posts on the switch and how to bypass it. Also, if your drivers latch is out of adjustment, it will affect the switch.

Bypass the switch inside the tailgate on the drivers side. It is visible in there on the far side after you remove the inspection plater. Just bypass it with a short wire with two male spade connectors on it. The switch is supposed to prevent you from rolling up the window when the tailgate is down, but they fail all the time, and are pricey to actually replace.

Check your wiring first. A bad connection is an easy fix:D

it takes all of 3 minutes to check this, and 95% of the time it is the cause of the exact described problem. It would be dumb to start anywhere else.

just wanted to thank everyone for the good advice it wound up being the safty switch so i just cut off the connector and spliced the wires together and now it works great again.

on to the next problem. does anyone know whow to adjust where the tailgate seats cause it is sitting a little to far out on the driver side and its going in too far on the passenger side. now the tracks for the top aren't lining up and it hard to get it all the way up

Remove the cover from the tailgate. At the bottom of the glass, you should see 2 (what LMC calls) window glass channels and the rollers. I would start there. I had the same problem and it ended up that the channels were so rusted I had to replace them. I also did the seals for the window while I had it all apart. You can purchase all the parts from LMC.
