My passenger door window (electric) quit working. I've tried eliminating things, and so far this is what I have. The window will not roll down from either switch (driver or passenger side). I've held one of those light bulb tester thingy-ma-jigs, and it appears current is not getting to the wires (going into the window motor). I've looked at the fuses, and I don't see any blown. Since my driver side window works fine I am confused. Is there a relay or something else hidden away that I should look at?

At a guess, its in the driver side right window switch. In other words, the switch on the driver's side that works the right hand window.
In most setups, it supplys power to the switch on the right hand side.

I agree ,had the same problem with my power windows. Turned out I had a bad wire on the drivers side. The switches have crappy connectors on them that stress the wires going into the back of the switch. I've repaired mine a few times. I'm going to switch to manual windows I'm so tired of fooling with the garbage G.M. set up.

as they said, it requires both switches to function in order for the window to go up.

on my dads 84 pickup we ended up figuring out the wiring problem however the drivers door switch for the passenger window would always blow the fuse, so we just put a bunch of silicone over it and you have to reach over to the passenger door to put it down. i wish i could remember what exactly went wrong with the wiring though....

as for the motors, i hate putting those damn things in
