Electrical Box

This is a shot in the dark...

On my friends 85 k5 (silverado) he had a home made alarm setup and it burned a few wires. He has this "electrical box" on the passenger side of the steering column, it has a relay and what looks like a flasher. The wire that burned up is dark green, does anybody know what this "box" is so we can repair the damage?

Well, the box isn't factory which means it probably has somehting to do with the "home made alarm" and since it's a home made alarm i'm guessing the green wire is part of it so we can't help you here without see where the green wire goes as to tell you what it's for for sure.

He ended up fixing it, it was the convince center box with the horn stuff. Thanks guys for the help I couldn't get a picture last night.
