Scott, do you have a factory air pump on the engine ?

I had a truck that had most of the emission stuff stripped off of it and failed the tail pipe test.....bolted on a factory air pump....passed the test ...took the belt off till next year..

Negative, my blazer did not come factory with the AIR system.

So did the light portion get fixed despite the Nox level? Or are you still working on that?

Thought I would update this thread, I passed my emissions test on tuesday. I swapped the stock SBC TBI and a factory prom back onto the rig and she passed.

Great. Did that fix your LED too or was it still doing it? Just trying to think if there is a bad ground or something in the ECM causing current to flow through the LED to ground. If it didn't fix it, then nevermind.

With the factory chip the SES light still lights dim when the EGR is commanded. Currently i'm back to running a chip that has the EGR turned off so the light doesn't come on at all now (for EGR anyway).

I guess you solved the problem another way then, and still passed emissions. :thumb:
