Hi, I have a 1991 Chevrolet K5 Blazer, Silverado edition. I've been having electrical issues with it on and off for the past couple years, most of which have been fixed. The current issue is my T/L CRTSY fuse blows whenever I turn on the running lights and/or the headlights. When the fuse blows I also lose my dashlights and the clock/radio, static still plays over the speakers though. Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem? I'm assuming I have a shorted wire somewhere, but not sure where to look next. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you!

Also, this issue began after I hit a pothole in the road on my way home from work.

It sounds like you're headed in the right direction already! I wouldn't be surprised if it was even your switch or something

Had a new headliner lately? Or fixed the interior roof light(s)?

I have seen people add their own cute looking over-80 roof lights and send a screw through an interior light wire a few times more than I can remember too.

Think back to the last electrical thing or mod you've done. Wires don't just decide to short out to a frame piece on their own free will very often except on F350/450s where they run crosswise from left to right in a swale in the dashboard support casting that was never de-burred. .
