Probably the timing is still off some..set it to specs with a timing light..If you have an older Holley carb,it might have a blown power valve from the backfiring..but I'd blame timing first..if you just put in a cam,the rockers might be set too tight,that can cause rough idle too,wont let the valves close enough..
