electrical problems

i have a 78 K5 and my tail lights went out, brake and turn signals work, bulbs are good, ive tryed everything i can think of and now, my tails work but no brake lights or signals? i bought a book and the wiring was jerry rigged before and i cant find the right wires, can anyone help??????

wiring problems

Check the headlight switch plug under the dash.It will be alot of wires in it.I bypassed mine i put my lights, brake lights on 1 toggle switch.You will have to find 3 wires.1 for headlights ,taillights an 1 hot wire.They are 2 in the hole plug.
