I need to know what I need to have a robust eltrical system. Right now I have dual red tops, however only one is hooked up, I was pointed to a battery isolater that did not work because it was only a 3 prong and it didnt send a signal somewhere. So I am looking for a the correct isolater, a good alternator that can keep two batts charged easy and a wiring diagram if possible. Thanks

I'm sold on ACR technology over isolators... Simpler, less draw, non fatal failure... Not cheap, but what is...

article for boats, but you get the idea...

Maybe due the 140 amp alt upgrade thats bouncing around here...

And big, simple, well done cabling!!!!!

I'm about to do a whole new setup for mine, dual 27 tray, marine switch, solenoid, etc...

Lot of different diagrams and theories out there on dual battery setups.. Heck, I must have a dozen saved on the comp... A quick Google search bring up a bunch...

Here's a couple dual batterie setups I had easily downloadable....
