blinker fluid in my '93 blazer

There is no such thing as blinker fluid on your '93 blazer. They came with an electical motor on the blinker with optional cam bearing and dual-slotted signal rotor! :D

However, the cam bearing a signal rotor need to be lubricated, some people use ATF as a cheap alternative, but the right way to do it is with a good quality DOT 7 or 8 blinker fluid. Whatever, I still need muffler bearings anyways.

Man those muffler bearings KILLED me. And since I've got a V8 I had to buy 16 of them. Gotta save up for the next set!

You forgot momentum and rotation, most important in the functioning of starter motors and vibrators.

I believe the word your looking for in that one is Electro-mechanical. (i.e. something that turns electrical energy into and mechanical force) Just like a solenoid, but i beleive a starter motor could actually be in that same catagory. :deal:

:haha:

Oh ok. I just moved here so I have no idea where anything is. Other than Austin and Houston and the major cities.

I was meaning to ask, if you substituted halogen fluid instead of Dot 7 or 8 blinker fluid, would the signal lights be brighter? Or just burn out faster? :wink1:

Any one know where a good place is to get the air in my tires rotated  I tried LesShwabs but they said they don't have the equpment to do it any more   :dunno: :screwy:

You can change to halogen fluid but it is not much of an improvement if you ask me, and not worth the effort, because you actually need to buy a left handed screwdriver for the right side lense, and a right handed screwdriver for the left side lense. Without those tools, which are expensive, there is no hope of getting to the blinker fluid at all. Hope this helps. :D

ALSO, TO EVERYBODY, IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR TO DO YOUR ANNUAL SPARK PLUG ROTATION, DON'T FORGET, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Wal-mart will not rotate the air but they WILL replace your old air with fresh "synthetic" air for .99 a pound!

That sucks for my DD since I run 35 pounds a tire. Guess it's just another reason to air down my trail rig though.

What's really sad is that I'm sure mechanics have used lines EXACTLY like these on unsuspecting women to get more money out of them!
