Came across this link while looking for info on why you should change your oil once a year if it has very little miles on it.

Anyways, maybe this is a way we can cut our dependency on middle east oil and save a couple bucks ourselves /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Kewl, that's save most of us alot of bucks. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I dunno sounds good but part of me likes changing my oil every 1500 miles or whevever I feel like it.....Hehe when its free why not... /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I run the BRF bypass filter system on my Blazer. I still change the oil every 3K-4K but from the looks and feel of the oil it doesn't need to be changed. I do like the extra capacity though...
