I have a 1991 k5 and after my wreck i cant get it to start because i cant find the emergency fuel pump shut off switch and it is driving me crazy i have looked in the kick panels and dash someone please help thank you

Sure that's not a Bronco you're driving? GM doesn't use intertia switches as far as I know. Good luck finding your problem.

I had a similar problem one morning. My 89 Burb would not start. Checked the injectors and no fuel. Turned out to be a bad coil. The computer shutoff the fuel pump. Oh, and no trouble light came on due to the bad coil.

I believe there's also an oil pressure switch involved in the picture. If the switch is shot or isn't reading properly your fuel pump won't engage.

Just throwing an idea out. Keep us posted, brother.

The pressure switch you speak of is actually in case the fuel pump relay goes bad it will allow the fuel pump to continue working as long as there is oil pressure.
