I have a K5 from 1989. The hazard light is not working. Right and left turn lights are working OK.
Pressing the hazard buttom on the steering column is not making the lights flash. I assume that I need a new emergency flasher. I have looked in the fusebox, but only the signal flasher is placed there.
Anybody know where to find it?

I can look at my factory diagram boocks tomorrow, but I believe the Emergency flasher is the same as the turn signals. You may have an issue with the power going into the switch/button on the column.

Thanks for your reply. I just thought that there would be an emergency flasher. If you have information from your diagram books, it will be highly appriciated.

on my 88 there is 2..1 in the fuse block and 1 just to the left of the gas pedal..i have just swapped them over cause the turn signals stopped working so not sure which was which

the one above the gas pedal is the emergency flasher, it's with the horn relay.

Thanks a lot. It was difficult to find, because there was no emergency flasher at all. After finding the location just as described, I could try with the signal flasher and .... succes. The lights were flashing left an right.
