Emissions Equipment Information

Does anyone know of a good source for information about all of the emissions equipment on an 88 K5? My other car doesn't have any emissions stuff on it, and I don't really know much about how it works (or even what some of the stuff is). I don't really like having a bunch of stuff on my truck that I don't at least have a rudimentary understanding of how it works.

Only really good source I'm aware of is the service manual for your year of truck. All the truck like yours would possibly have is:

EGR
PCV
AIR
EVAP
Catalytic Converter

At least that I can think of off the top of my head. You should be able to google those and the basics will be there. Of course implementation varies by maker and by year, but the basic principles are the same.
