emmision\'s=crap!!(how to remove?)

I live in the great state of Michigan where we have no emmision's laws(at the moment).

I have already removed that power robbing A/C stuff and am wondering what I need to do to make my motor "emmission's free"?

Ditch the Mixture control carb and go back to a 79-83ish. Ditch the air pump. The EVAP stuff does not hurt performance so leave it on there so you don't have any tank vent problems. EGR really isn't going to cause much issue. The engine and carbs are set up for them and you may get into a ping problem under heavy load without it.

Just start yankin' out stuff/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif. A friend of mine helped me go "emissions free" a month ago. I believe the only vac. lines I have left are vacuum advance to the distributer, and a control line to the tranny (?-not sure). My buddy jumped in there and just started throwin' stuff from underneath the hood, all the while muttering "don't need that!" I just stood in amazement and crossed my fingers. Truck runs like a scalded a$$ ape now. Granted, there is a Performer manifold and an Accel Super HEI in place of the stock stuff now, too. Better gas milage to boot.
