Anyone happen to know the core plug size for the Gen IV BBC? I'm running a 402 which is very cold blooded and we're getting into the 30's overnight. My commute is ~5 miles so I'd like the engine to be warmed so as to avoid fuel puddling, fouling, poor mpg, etc.

Any recommendations on vendors for the plug? I'm looking at Jegs so far.

Chris (FortCollinsRam) has a block heater in his Gen IV BBC. He will probably know the applicatin and probably the part number too. He got his at Napa (where he works) and they may be able to tell you too.

Like Harley said, I have a block heater in my BBC. At the Napa that I work at, we carry Pyroil block heaters. I don't have a part number off hand though, but the store I work at listed the block heater in the computer for my motor.
