Engine Bugs

Well i thot i solved my engine porobs but they are back and in full force.

What would cause

- I start my car, it fires right up and as soon as i put it into gear it dies.
-When i give it some gas it either dies or bogs down hooribly causing VERY poor acceleration.


Any ideas, im guna do a pressure test when i can get around to it, b/c i think i might have a blown or leaky head gasket.

have you done the simple stuff change fuel filter check for vacum leaks ?

How is idle? If idle isn't smooth or low as it should be, I'd be looking for a vacuum line problem.

idles finee its right after i pop it in drive or right when i give it some gas is when it gets nasty

so I assume it has a 700r4 trans? does it bog down in park? if so then it's all engine but if it revs fine in park then you could have a stuck lockup valve in your trans. just my .02

these are my sypmtoms

-white smoke on startup
-nasty exhaust smell
-low and dirty coolant
-runs like poo

head gasket?

im guna do a pressure test tomorrow
